Felice Expands to Flatiron with a New Flagship Flatiron NYC
Felice, the New York–based Italian neighborhood restaurant rooted in Tuscan culinary tradition, has opened Felice Flatiron, its first New York City opening in over four years and a defining flagship for the brand.
Located on a prominent corner in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, the restaurant marks a natural evolution of Felice: a space grounded in Tuscan heritage and designed to feel embedded within the neighborhood.
About Felice
Founded in 2007 by Jacopo Giustiniani, Felice has built its identity around warm, lived-in dining rooms, a Tuscan-driven wine culture, and seasonal, ingredient-led cooking, spaces designed as much for gathering as for dining.
“Felice has always been about creating spaces people come back to,” said Jacopo Giustiniani, managing partner at SA Hospitality Group. “With Flatiron, we wanted something that feels immediate and familiar, while still reflecting the energy of the neighborhood.”
What to Expect
Set within a 1914 Beaux Arts building, the space features 19-foot ceilings, prominent frontage along Fifth Avenue and 26th Street, and bow windows overlooking Madison Square Park. Natural light shapes the room throughout the day, shifting into a warmer, more intimate glow by evening.
The design, led by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, balances warm minimalism with understated luxury. A 30-foot illuminated wine wall anchors the space, while a palette drawn from Tuscany, including Grigio Versilia marble, Chianti terracotta and Italian oak, grounds the interiors in material authenticity while maintaining a distinctly New York sensibility.
The layout moves fluidly from day to night, accommodating coffee, lunch, aperitivo, and dinner within a single, cohesive space. Lighting and spatial transitions mirror this rhythm, shifting from open and social to more intimate as the evening unfolds.
“We wanted the space to feel instantly familiar but elevated in every detail, Tuscany in its materials, New York in its energy,” said Enrico Bonetti, co-founder of Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture.
